After a series of successful and tasty Sunday specials, it is about time to dedicate a Sunday to various vegetarian dishes. So on Sunday 19 February, our kitchen will prepare the most delicious vegetarian dishes! So gather your (vegetarian) friends and mark ‘Vegetarian Sunday’ in your agenda.

An ideal menu for vegetarians

Perhaps being a vegetarian is one of your new years resolutions, or have you been vegetarian for a while or are you only eating meat and fish sporadically. Whatever the case may be, on February the 19th you don’t have to look specifically for the vegetarian dishes on the menu because we have put together a whole menu with only vegetarian dishes!

Plenty of tasteful options

How about a nut pâté with cherry jelly and toast? The baked mushrooms with soft egg yolk, mushroom sauce, lovage oil and sourdough is also a finger-licking good dish. For lovers of quiches, our Janneke will make a delicious vegetable quiche with a herb salad. In addition, we will give the classic beef wellington a vegetarian twist: we will prepare a special beet wellington with demi glace (to be ordered per two people).

The cherry on the cake…

And of course, no meal is complete without a dessert. The gateau chaud with vanilla ice cream never disappoints our guests! That hot chocolate that drips from the cake… More in the mood for something savory? Go for an assortment of cheeses from Kef, a well-known specialist in French and Dutch cheeses in Amsterdam. The cheeses are served with quince jelly. With these desserts you will certainly end your meal in a festive way.
